Troop 344/9344 hiked in the backcountry of the beautiful Sawtooth Wilderness in Idaho in mid July 2023. It is considered the "crown jewel" of the Gem State. The Sawtooth Wilderness is exceptional in scenic beauty and is characterized by high granite peaks and narrow glacial valleys. The alpine wildflowers brought the high meadows alive with color. We celebrated the conclusion of the adventure by a day of white water rafting on the Payette River.
